
A 4.9 magnitude earthquake hits the district of Awash in Ethiopia, with quivers being felt in the capital city, Addis Ababa today.
The earthquake happened at 8:10 p.m. local time (GMT+3) at a depth of 10 kilometers and has been felt by 484 users, according to the Volcano Discovery.
Light shakings were felt in the regions of Afar, Oromiya, and Dire Dawa as well as in the capital, Addis Ababa where no reports of injuries or serious damages have been reported so far.
Many social media users have shared videos and pictures showing their appearance outside their homes after feeling the light shaking.
